Export your catalog metadata as a CSV or XLSX file to review, audit, or manage your release and track information outside of Revelator. You can export your full catalog or just a filtered subset.
Export your catalog
- From the left sidebar, click Catalog → Digital Releases.
- Click the ⋮ menu at the top right of the Releases page.
- Select one of the following export options:
- Export filtered catalog metadata (csv): Exports only the releases matching your active filters.
- Export filtered catalog metadata (xlsx): Same as above, in Excel format.
- Export full catalog metadata (csv): Exports your entire catalog regardless of filters.
- Export full catalog metadata (xlsx): Same as above, in Excel format.
- Your file will download automatically.

Using filters before exporting
You can narrow your export by applying filters before selecting a filtered export option.
- On the Releases page, click the filter icon at the top right to open the Filters panel.
- Apply any combination of filters, such as:
- Distribution status
- Release date or Creation date
- Type, Genres, Payees
- Archive status (Archived Only or All)
- Client, Labels, UPCs
- The releases list updates to show only matching results.
- Click the ⋮ menu and select Export filtered catalog metadata to export all the results.

| Note By default, the Releases page shows only unarchived releases. To include archived releases in your export, open the Archive status filter and select All before exporting. |
FAQs
Can I export just archived releases?
Yes. Open the Archive status filter, toggle Archived Only on, then use Export filtered catalog metadata to download only archived releases.
What's the difference between "filtered" and "full" export?
A filtered export downloads only the releases matching your current filters. A full export downloads every release in your catalog, regardless of any filters applied.
Can I choose which columns appear in the export?
No. The export includes all available metadata fields. You can remove columns in Excel or Google Sheets after downloading.
My catalog is very large. Will the export still work?
Yes. If you experience slow downloads, try using filters to export smaller subsets of your catalog.
