Daily Trends


Merlin members using Merlin deals for the DSPs listed below can connect daily trends reporting from these DSPs to their Revelator account (please note that other DSPs not listed do not provide daily trends reports):

  • Apple (coming soon)
  • Deezer
  • Pandora (available in Data Pro only)
  • Soundcloud
  • Spotify
  • TikTok 
  • YouTube (available in Data Pro only)

Please follow these instructions to connect your daily trends reports to your Revelator account. Note that you should start seeing your trends 24-48 hours after having added your credentials.


DEEZER

  • In the new dashboard, go to your Account Settings > Integrations > Reporting > Deezer
  • Select the Direct Deal card (even though you are indeed using a Merlin deal)
  • Host/Server address: ftp.merlinnetwork.org — do not include anything else like ftpes://
  • Port: 21
  • And then enter the username and password that Merlin has given you for your FTP access (note that this is not the same login that you have been given to access the Merlin Wizard dashboard)


PANDORA

  • Please get in touch with Data Pro support


SOUNDCLOUD

  • In the new dashboard, go to your Account Settings > Integrations > Reporting > Soundcloud
  • Select the Direct Deal card (even though you are indeed using a Merlin deal)
  • Host/Server address: ftp.merlinnetwork.org — do not include anything else like ftpes://
  • Port: 21
  • And then enter the username and password that Merlin has given you for your FTP access (note that this is not the same login that you have been given to access the Merlin Wizard dashboard)


SPOTIFY

  • If you have already been issued Spotify Enhanced Bulk API credentials:
    • Go to the Spotify Developer dashboard
    • Retrieve your Client ID and Client Secret
    • In the new Revelator dashboard, go to your Account Settings > Integrations > Reporting > Spotify
    • Select the Direct Deal card (even though you are indeed using a Merlin deal)
    • Fill out the following fields in the Daily Trends section:
    • Analytics Licensor Name: enter your Spotify licensor name
    • Analytics API username: enter your Spotify Client ID
    • Analytics API secret/password: enter your Spotify Client Secret
  • If you have not already been issued Spotify Enhanced Bulk API credentials:
    • Send the following email to: analytics-api@spotify.com
    • Subject: Spotify Provider API Access Request - Your Company Name
    • Include the following 3 lines (you only need to enter your information for #1 & #2):
      1. Spotify account: one of the email addresses associated to your Merlin account
      2. Company name: your company name (as provided to Merlin)
      3. Provider API: Enhanced Bulk API

Monthly Reporting


Revelator's integration with the Merlin Wizard enables our customers to automatically import revenue reports (more info on this here: Reconciling Merlin Reports). 

Please follow the steps below to set up this connection:

  • In the new dashboard, go to your Account Settings > Integrations > Reporting > Merlin
  • Select the Direct Deal card (even though you are indeed using a Merlin deal)
  • Host/Server address: ftp.merlinnetwork.org — do not include anything else like ftpes://
  • Port: 21
  • And then enter the username and password that Merlin has given you for your FTP access (note that this is not the same login that you have been given to access the Merlin Wizard dashboard)
