If you have your own (or a Merlin) Apple deal, Revelator can retrieve your daily trends from Apple and display them in your Daily Trends analytics dashboard. Here are the instructions for setting this up:


MERLIN DEAL

Simply enter your Merlin reporting FTP credentials.


DIRECT DEAL

You will need the following:

  1. Your Itunes UserName. Please note that we should already have this if you are using Revelator to deliver to Apple. If Revelator is not delivering for you, then we highly recommend creating a new app-specific user instead of proving an existing user's credentials. Instructions here.
  2. Your Itunes Password. Please note that we should already have this if you are using Revelator to deliver to Apple. If Revelator is not delivering for you, then we highly recommend creating a new app-specific user instead of proving an existing user's credentials. Instructions here.
  3. Your iTunes Vendor ID. Instructions:
    1. Log into iTunes Connect and click on Sales and Trends.
    2. Click on "Sales and Trends Reports" in the bottom left column.
    3. Click on your company name (in blue) in the central report area. Your Vendor ID is the number next to your company name.
  4. An iTunes Access Token and its expiration date. Instructions:
    1. Log into ITC and click Sales and Trends.
    2. From the left-hand side, click on "Sales and Trends Reports.
    3. In the upper-right corner, click on the tooltip next to About Reports.
    4. Click "Generate Reporter Token".
  5. Your iTunes Account Number. If you do not know this, then please email Support and include the 2 items above. We will retrieve your iTunes Account Number for you.
  6. Your Apple Music Analytics API key & Issuer ID. Instructions:
    1. Please follow the instructions provided here.
    2. Note that your API key will be a file that ends with the file extension: .p8
    3. Note that your Issuer ID should be in this format: E0E3EF8C-7594-324F-BAFD-282D09BAA38F


Once you have all the items above, please enter them in Account Settings > Integrations (or Services in the old dashboard) and email Support to have us confirm everything is set to go.


IMPORTANT: please take note of the expiration date of your iTunes Access Token so that:

  1. You can renew it a few days before it expires again
  2. And update it in your Account > Integrations > Reporting > Apple settings
