Revelator Pro now gives you precise control over who can access your Trust & Safety tools—without giving full Admin privileges.
With the new Trust & Safety Officer role and permission setting, you can assign access to team members responsible for detecting fraud, reviewing suspicious activity, and maintaining catalog integrity.
What’s New
- New Role Preset: The Trust & Safety Officer role includes everything needed to investigate incidents and manage catalog safety—no manual setup required.
- Dedicated Permission: You can also assign the Trust & Safety permission individually if you prefer to customize roles.
- Artificial Streaming Dashboard Access: This permission enables access to tools that detect abnormal behavior (like spikes in streams from bots or click farms).
How to Assign the Trust & Safety Role
- Go to your Settings
- Go to the Members section.
- Click More actions next to the team member you want to update.
- Select Edit Roles.
- Choose Trust & Safety Officer or manually assign the Trust & Safety permission.
- Save changes. The user now has access to the dashboard and fraud detection tools.

Who Should Get This Permission?
We recommend assigning the Trust & Safety role to:
- Your Operations or Distribution Managers who oversee catalog delivery.
- Rights Management or Legal team members who handle compliance and integrity checks.
- Any trusted team member investigating fraud-related issues.
Why It Matters
- Spot Fraud Early: Detect artificial streaming behavior before it causes problems.
- Secure Your Catalog: Prevent unauthorized behavior that could affect DSP trust or takedown risks.
- Build Confidence with Clients: Show artists, labels, and partners that you take integrity seriously.

Understanding User Roles and Permissions
The Trust & Safety Officer is just one of the role options you can assign. Here’s a quick overview of the others:
| Role Name | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full platform access, including billing, user management, and permissions. |
| Admin | Most admin-level access but can be restricted from billing or advanced settings. |
| Content Manager | Can view and edit catalog (releases, tracks, artists), but not financials. |
| Finance Manager | Can access royalties, contracts, analytics, and financial reports. |
| Distribution Manager | Can manage delivery to DSPs, inspect releases, and handle supply chain. |
| Trust & Safety Officer | Can access artificial streaming tools and catalog monitoring without admin rights. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to specific modules (based on your setup). |
You can also customize access per user by manually assigning or removing individual permissions.
