Whitelisting a Facebook Page or Instagram Account

Modified on Thu, 4 Jun at 1:01 PM

If your own music video content is blocked on your own Facebook or Instagram page(s), you can request that we whitelist your page(s)/account(s) on Facebook and/or Instagram so that content is no longer blocked.

Note This request form is for Revelator distributed clients only.
Important If you ask us to whitelist one of your pages, you accept to be fully liable and to take all responsibility for ownership and/or clearance of all the rights for any content played or displayed on the whitelisted Facebook pages and/or Instagram accounts.

How to submit a whitelisting request

Please fill out this form to send us your request.

What is whitelisting?

Whitelisting allows specific Facebook pages and Instagram accounts to bypass automatic copyright enforcement systems on Meta platforms.

Facebook and Instagram use content identification systems to help protect rights holders. In some cases, this may result in your own content being muted, blocked, or removed — even when you are using music you own or control.

Whitelisting helps prevent this from happening when you:

  • Post your own music on your official artist or label accounts
  • Work with trusted partners or collaborators who need to post your content
